Chris Calhoun, a native of the Kettle Creek Valley, discovered his passion for photography as a high school yearbook photographer. He now serves as professor and coordinator of the Park and Recreation Management program at Butler County Community College and as the lead Water Rescue Instructor Trainer for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. In both roles, he uses photography and videography to create engaging educational materials. While at his family homestead in the valley, Chris captures the wildlife and landscapes that continue to inspire him. His photos—often paired with thoughtful, educational captions—help connect viewers to the beauty and spirit of Kettle Creek.
